1. Bill’s Pizza

While you may be hesitant to try a pizzeria without a paisan name attached to it, the owner of this restaurant, Bill Tracy, is a student of pizza. He has traveled across the United States and all throughout Italy to study pizza making. Located in the Prescott Courthouse Plaza you can grab a bite to eat midday or in the evening when you are done exploring the downtown area. If you aren’t just yet convinced that the pizza is well made purchase it by the slice before you buy a whole pie. Be sure to have cash on you as Bill’s Pizza doesn’t accept credit cards.

2. Prescott Brewing Company

Our very own brewing company located within the Bashford Courts Mall, the Prescott Brewing Co. is great for those touring the area, families, college students, and anyone who loves great beer and great food. Almost everything is made in house from daily homemade breads along with soups and dressings.

An award-winning microbrewery, Prescott Brewing Co. offers more to eat than you can imagine. From burgers, to pizza, to salads and sandwiches. All of our food and beer goes hand-in-hand. With seasonal foods and beers flying in and out of the door constantly you want to come and grab a few brews while they are still available. Prescott Brewing Co. provides you with the experience of what a true pub is supposed to be like.

3. The Peacock Room

An Art Deco designed restaurant feels timeless for those sitting for a meal. The booths are half-moons and floral wallpaper covers the walls. Located in the Hassayampa Inn the Peacock Room offers exceptional cuisine. You can spend your evening in this chic and timeless restaurant while dining on lamb shank, Alaskan salmon, or even prime rib. You can spend either breakfast, lunch, or dinner here.

Once you have finished your meal move your way to the bar adjacent from the restaurant for a nice drink. Here you can listen to live music every night and during summer time spend time on the outdoor patio to enjoy the cool summer breeze and the stars. Be sure to walk through the lobby of the Hassayampa Inn to enjoy the hand-stenciled wood ceiling and vintage elevator from 1927.

4. El Gato Azul

A small bistro, one of a kind, is just steps from the famous Whiskey Row in Prescott, Arizona. This small restaurant offers you a fun and sophisticated atmosphere. With an outdoor patio, creek side patio, and an indoor bar there is plenty of room for you and your friends to grab some tapas and Sangria.

Perched on the bank of Granite Creek who wouldn’t want to come here for a drink, some tapas, and some live music on the weekends. If you don’t want to sit on the patios the inside bar with locals is always a welcoming environment.

5. Iron Springs Cafe

Iron Springs Cafe is a great restaurant in a historic building built in 1894. Having been open since 1974 this restaurant is a great casual dining experience. If you are looking for Cajun and Southwest dining options then you’ve come to the right place. You can order anything on the menu from gumbo to enchiladas, and even fresh seafood. This downtown Prescott restaurant gives you a friendly experience with deliciously homemade food. An old train depot this little restaurant is a great stop in Prescott.

6. Cuppers Coffee House

A wide variety of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate this is the coffee house you want to be at on a rainy day. If you are starting your trip in Prescott in the morning grab a cup of joe from Cuppers Coffee House, and if you’re finishing up your trip in Prescott and have a drive home you’ll definitely want a cup of coffee or hot chocolate from Cuppers. When you stop here be sure to try the pancakes drenched with homemade syrup and brown sugar.
